A Web Browser That Edits CSS
Stylizer is part web browser, part CSS editor.
Just type in the address of any CSS-based web page, and start
editing. Or, load an HTML page from your computer and do the same.
Work Faster Than Ever
The results of your edits are displayed in real-time, in a variety
of web browser rendering engines. This gives you substantial
productivity gains over working in a text editor.
Save Everything Back Automatically
When it's time to save, Stylizer automatically sends your changes
back to the proper location online via FTP. Alternatively, the CSS can be
saved to your computer. Once a style sheet has been saved, Stylizer
remembers your FTP connection details so that subsequent saves can
be done in a single click.
Built For Keyboard Junkies
Every effort was made to accomodate even the most die-hard keyboard
and shortcut fanatic. You can efficiently control all of Stylizer and your CSS
with the keyboard.
Work Fast With Size Grips
Size grips allow you to quickly adjust values to that perfect amount in
real-time with click and drag. No more page refreshing—achieve
perfection almost instantly.
Two-Click Color Changes
With Stylizer you can tweak any color in your style sheet to the perfect
saturation and brightness levels and get that exact look—all in two clicks.
Try that in Notepad.
Numerous Tasks, 1 Click
The Remote Control, atop each rule in the style sheet, makes numerous
repetive tasks a one-click operation. It even automates complex practices
like Image Replacement and Positioning.
Zero Errors
Stylizer is designed to make CSS errors impossible. If you attempt to load
a CSS file that contains errors, Stylizer will help you correct them.
Point. Click. Edit.
Bullseye transforms your workflow into an efficient point, click, and
edit process. Using Bullseye is as easy as tapping the space bar, and
clicking on the page element that you want to style. Your CSS rules
are filtered and reorganized, with the most specific rules appearing
at the top of the list, and the least specific at the bottom.
Follow the Breadcrumbs
When you select a page element with Bullseye, the path of HTML tags
leading to that element is displayed across the bottom of your screen. Use it
to create new rules with a single click.
Stakeout: Reverse Bullseye
While Bullseye displays a list of CSS rules that affect a page element,
the Stakeout feature highlights the page elements that are being affected
by a CSS rule.
Powerful Search
In addition to Bullseye, Stylizer packs a powerful Spotlight-style search
feature. It quickly finds CSS rules based on textual searches.
Replacements
The powerful search feature can also be harnessed to do quick replacements
throughout your CSS for simplified refactoring.
Eye Dropper
Pull colors from Photoshop, Fireworks, a web page, or any other program,
and quickly inject them into your CSS.
Tape Measure
Take & inject measurements from design mockups in
Photoshop, Fireworks, or any other application.
Ruler
Ensure perfect alignment of the elements on your page, and
quickly take horizontal and vertical measurements.
Lens
Ensure per-pixel accuracy by blowing up a portion of the browser
by 8 times its original size.
Built-in Initialization
Initialization automatically inserts special information into your style
sheet that makes CSS development more straight forward.
More Intuitive Positioning
In a few clicks, Stylizer will automatically handle some of the hardest
and most complicated CSS techniques. Practices like Image Replacement
and Float Expansion (“Clear Fix”) are rolled into an efficient interface.
Fast Browser Targeting
Quickly direct specific CSS rules only to certain browsers. No ugly
CSS syntax or complicated browser knowledge required.
